Service / Rigging Engineer
Location: Churchstow and Salcombe • Company: The Wolf Rock Boat Company
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Wolf Rock Boat Company is looking for an experienced and motivated Service / Rigging Engineer to join our growing team. To work between our dual sites of Churchstow and Salcombe, this is a hands-on role to undertake servicing, maintenance, and rigging work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a passion for working on the water.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Carrying out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on outboard engines
- •Installation and maintenance of marine systems and equipment
- •Rigging of new BRIG & GALA ribs
- •Electrical fault finding and system installation
- •Preparing boats for handover and commissioning
- •Supporting launch and recovery operations where required
- •Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
ABOUT YOU
- •Proven experience in marine engineering, rigging, or a similar mechanical role
- •Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- •Good working knowledge of marine electrical and mechanical systems
- •Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- •Full UK driving license
- •A proactive, reliable, and professional attitude
